Cheers all,
I've just fixed the statisticsdb (aka statistics) module, so DB statistics should now be available at:
http://toolserver.org/~erfgoed/api/api.php?action=statisticsdb&format=ht...
Please note that the update process is now extremelly long due to the size of the database, so it's best to not abuse it.
I hope I will be able to update module statisticsct, which is the one we were using last year to track contest activity: http://www.wikilovesmonuments.org.pt/tools/stats/index.php
Let me know if you find any problems.
PS: To all API developers: I just went through a huge code merge, please review if I didn't break anything, it took me some time to adapt it to some late changes, I might have missed something.

Issue #1: you use country codes instead of appropriate language codes: http://toolserver.org/~erfgoed/api/api.php?action=statisticsdb&format=ht... (the links should point to be-x-old.wikipedia.org).
