Hi! I'm writing from Spain. I'm a member of Wikimedia España and we participate in WLM, but we are working very slowly. So I think a mailing list could be very useful for us. Wikimedia España exists only since some weeks ago and we are currently working on our web site, our mailing work groups, organization, etc. We have a mailing list, of course, but only a general one. Apart from that a list hosted by WM-NL could be a good one to join people from WM-ES, Amical and people who aren't members of any assotiation.
I know that this list is used by two or three wikimedians who are members of Amical. This is also a invitation to them to work together also on a mailing list apart of the Wikipedia. List on Ca:wiki are very developed, but not the lists on other languages, like Spanish or Galician.
I've never managed a list but I could try it. As a consequence, we ask for a mailing list for Spain if you agree. We'll be very grateful. I've asked some people who are interested and are have been working on WLM in Spain, and they agree.
My e-mail adress is showed with this e-mail. The code is "es" of course. The list could be open and it'd be better to have an archive.
Thank you very much. I'm sorry for my English.
Regards.
Millars (Santi)

Dear all, I know that the technical infrastructure of the chapters is not the same everywhere. We can set up a mailing list for you that allows you to communicate and organise in a centralised way without having to know all the e-mail addresses of everyone involved. Of course you are free to arrange your own Google Groups, Yahoo group, or whatever if this makes more sense to you. The e-mail address we can offer for the list would be "wlm-XX@lists.wmnederland.nl", where XX would be the country code. So if any of you are in need of a mailing list, please let us know in this thread, including the following properties for the list:e-mail address of the mailing list managerCountry codeShould be mailing list be open or closed – international coordinators of WLM will be subscribed for closed mailing lists (Lodewijk Gelauff and Maarten Dammers)Archived or not (for closed mailing lists the archive will only be visible for subscribers)Cheers!
