Dear Neville
Greetings from India!!
To introduce myself, I am Suyash & I am one of the coordinators of WLM India
I have been regularly keeping myself updated on the latest of WLM & working accordingly with my team to meet the 31st October Deadline.
Till 3 days back we have been on track with our evaluations & were supposed to submit the Top 10 images by 31st October. In the last 3 days, we have faced many technical issues which also includes a brilliant lineup of Top 16 images which we shortlisted with the Montage tool.
The team including the jury is over-shooting the deadline over finalizing the actual top 10 images & still there is a lot of discussion happening over the images.
The way it is going, we might go beyond our deadline by 2-3 days. I am planning to discuss this more thoroughly with the team & jury & try to push this through to give the Top 10 images by 2nd November.
I hope you understand the reason for the delay because the jury & the team want to give its best entries to the international team.
I hope you could give us the extension permission & I assure you that we will give our top 10 entries latest by 3rd November 11:59pm(IST)

Hi Suyash,
Thank you for your email and work on WLM India.
We rarely grant extensions to countries and the main reason for it is that the jury coordinator in the international team (in this case, myself) needs enough time to be able to process all photos and follow due process before the start of the international jury. Giving you a few extra hours (an additional 12 hours, so that you submit by no later than 11.59am UTC on 1st November) would be manageable, but 3 days extension is very hard to accommodate at this point, as in: we cannot guarantee that we can accept the late nominations, however, of course, if we can afford to spend time on those late submissions prior to the start of the international jury process, we will accept them and process them, but you will be dealing with the risk that they won't be accepted.
My strong recommendation is that you work with your jury to finalise the top 10 nominations today local time to stay on the safe side and ensure that your nominations will make it to the international competition.
In summary, if you submit by 11:59am UTC on 1 November, we will be able to accept your nominations. If you submit later than that, we will only accept them if we are able to do so, but this will be at the risk that we will be unable to accept them.
Best regards, Neville
