yesterday the Zedlerprize was awarded at the WikiAcademy in Berlin. We are happy that the community project Wiki loves monument was elected as winner by the jury. Especially helpfull to the sucess of the project was the throgoughly change of attitude of the Federal Office of Heritage Austria (BDA). As Dr. Holzschuh-Hofer of the BDA expressed it: Thanks to Wiki loves Monument and the collaboration with the volunteers of Wikipedia, we have experienced that open acess gives the better result.
