We are pleased to announce the UK winners of the Wiki Loves Monuments contest 2014.
The ten winning images can be seen here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wiki_Loves_Monuments_2014_winners#United_...
Particular congratulations must go to the photographer who entered under the alias ‘Fuzzypiggy', who managed to sweep the board with first, second and third prizes.
In addition to the top 10 images, two images were awarded special prizes for pictures of a building on one of the official UK ‘At Risk’ registers.
Particular thanks are due to Wikimedia UK, English Heritage and The Royal Photographic Society (our partners in running the contest), to our judges James Davies (EH), Roy Robertson (RPS) and David Iliff (Wikimedia Commons), to Magnus Manske for programming, and to the volunteers who helped organise the contest and pre-screen the images. Of course the greatest thanks must go to the photographers who uploaded images under a free licence to Wikimedia Commons where they are available for anyone to use without charge.
Congratulations to all,
Michael

Congrats Michael,
A pleasure to have helped would have been great to see some of my favorites on the list, however, I understand that the review process is averaged.
