You forgot the /$1 in the top template name. I
fixed that.
I'm confused on whether the /$1 should be used or not.
In some cases (eg. Template:Upload campaign use Wiki Loves Monuments/xy)
the {{translated tag|header}} is shown to the user, which is very bad.
Template:Upload campaign header Wiki Loves Monuments 2012 August/xy
seems to use {{Iftemplate|{{translated tag|header}}}} to avoid that.
That's
because the header isn't exactly interpreted like a normal
mediawiki page. Just use "
<noinclude>
{{Iftemplate|{{translated tag|header}}}}
</noinclude>" on the subpages.
Maybe we should instead try to use template
Autotranslation there?
That won't work at all. Will ask around if someone can do
(another)
cleanup both run so the users don't get bothered with this.

Thank you Lodewijk
I'm happy its now working. But can the language be changed from the
'en' to the 'ak'?
Every ghanaian who'll upload photos during the contest can read the
english though. However, we wish to have the banner in our local language.
It doesn't change or make more people partake though, but we love to
also have our local language there at least.
Now its functioning, i'll strictly analyse the settings and see how
best to tweak them to suite what the wlm-gh wants.
Go to

and translate it.
Can you also translate
https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?action=edit&preload=Template%…
?
