Hi all,
As part of our local (Malta) WLM campaign, we have set up a couple of screens in a local museum with rolling displays of photos submitted the previous week. However, it is very time consuming to download each image individually, so we are finding this problematic.
Is there a way to batch download all the images submitted by each individual user (the WLM stats page allows you to view all photos by each individual user, but not download them in one go)? This would make our work so much easier!
Thanks, Neville
Hi Neville:
Are you tried to install and execute imker? ( https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Imker_(batch_download)).
In the past (2014?) I've used to download images from the Chilean contest, but I don't know if it's working in the recent Mediawiki API versions.
Best

This is our reference suggestion, but https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Use_eye-catchers_to_attract_attention reminds me there used to be a stream at https://toolserver.org/~erfgoed/stream/ as well as https://tools.wmflabs.org/magnus-toolserver/browser_saver.php?category=Featured_pictures_on_Wikimedia_Commons.

I added the tools listed in this thread (and another one Erik has developed) to: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Monuments_2017/Tools#E...
Two points: * Nemo, I didn't manage to list your comment as a tool. If I missed something, please add it. * All, Let's try to make the Tools page much more updated. We can reuse it in the future years, too. :)
Thanks, Lily
