Be aware people might be using other upload meganisms like commonist.

This might be true, however there are some images (see [1]) that were uploaded using the UploadWizard after Oct 1st that have that category.

And some photos are uploaded in time to Flickr but transfered to Commons in October. You shouldn't remove the template from the files (not sure if you did that).

No -- I've just worked on files that were uploaded into the "Wiki Loves Monuments 2011 in Romania" category and haven't had the {{Wiki Loves Monuments 2011|ro}} template inserted.

We removed the template from the Romanian UploadWizard slighlty after midnight on October 1, but people kept uploading the files. And the bot, as I get it, uploaded the file using both the category and the template, right?

Yes, you're correct, as far as I can tell, the flickr files have not been affected.There are only 35 files remaining, I will edit those by hand.
