After stats, the charts!
This is all based on the API, which means each one of you can just use the framework to build your own graphs. Results are 15min cached.
Daily uploads:
http://www.wikilovesmonuments.org.pt/tools/stats/wlmchart.php?ctshowagg=0&am...
You can request aggregats, so it will return a progress chart:
http://www.wikilovesmonuments.org.pt/tools/stats/wlmchart.php?ctshowagg=0&am...
Parameters: - ctwidth, ctheight - ctshowagg (show aggregates) - ctcountry (list of countries separated by pipe "|")
I wish we could have a list of events, maybe in a google doc, per country, so we could relate them to the statistics. For instance, on day X we sent out a press release, does that reflect in number of uploads? This is an obvious one, though....
Have fun,
Ermmm I forgot you're not portuguese speaking, except for a few :-) Well, give a couple of days so I can put in English. In any case, "numero de imagens" (which is badly labeled) wanted to mean "rate of uploads".
Hi Nuno,
You might want to set up i18n right away.

Actually I forgot that if you pass lang=en or es or pt (the supported languages at our site) you'll see the localized labels (but they're still misleading).

Oh, and about the events... Romaine... I think my mails to LUX PT agencies did the job... if it wasn't you:

Another nice info:
The omnipresent Basvb leads the way on multiple countries participations, having a foot on 10 (!) countries. Second place, half of the countries, is GoEThe!

This is amazing, I've been waiting for those charts since the start of the contest. Thank you so much for all the great tools!

The peak on 11/12 September for NL can be blamed on Open Monument weekend combined with Wiki takes Amsterdam! The low on 10 Sept is because all cool people were on the streets in Amsterdam instead of uploading :P
Also a small peak on Sept 4, blamed on Wiki takes Leeuwarden combined with weekend :)

Would you (all) like to fill a google spreadsheet with a list of events on your country? It would give a nice graph.
Please, have a look, fill in where appropriate, but stick to the facts, please:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AnPdbOK0J9nKdDN2SWVmbF9xcHdwdHR...
I'll fill more info about PT later.
Great, I already see some of you editing. Let's put everything we can remember of. I expecto to be able to isolate coutries on a graph like this [1], so we can analyse individually how our comm effors reflect on the statistics.

Nuno, I find the caching on this tool a bit too aggressive. Is there any way I can force the update of the data?
Thanks, Strainu

Thanks Nuno, and don't worry, I only plan to use that trigger a few times a day to analyze the impact of my flickr-transfer bot on that day's uploads.
I was wondering: is the graph cache really more rarely updated than the api-bridge's one? It sure seems like it, but I find no obvious reason for that.
Thanks, Strainu
Strainu, the tools were focused on the participant's relevancy. I can imagine them (actually, I know they're doing it) participants hitting browser reload button a lot, so they see their uploads reflected in the stats.
The chart is not that relevant for a participant.
As a side-note, the charts are agressively more cached in a factor of 60 (5h) :-)
Another small nitpicking (sorry if I become unnerving :P):
If I put ctshowagg=-0 in the URL (typo), the aggregates are shown. Without this parameter, the aggregates are not shown.
I would have expected that an invalid value for a parameter would make the script behave just as if the parameter didn't exist. Again, this is a very small thing and not a problem at all.
Thanks, Strainu "tooday I'm in QA mode"
