Andre, It would be cool to have a "heat map" of Europe with the number of monuments per municipality like this one in the States for the National Register of Historic Places:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:NRHP_USA_Map.svg
Is this possible with the data we have now? Jane

Andre,
We can easily report on the fields that are mapped against 'monuments_all' table, other combinations would be too weird to allow (although that's possible as well).
What are you trying to achieve, in the end? Just dumping all fields
status?
Hi Nuno,
Per 'municiple', or whatever distinction there is in a country we want at least to know the number of monuments there, and the numbers of pictures taken (which lead to how much to do). The others can be intresting as well, like 'number of coordinates'. That way people can deal with the lists in a structured manner dealing with these things, and, most important for WLM, decide were still a lot of pictures are needed, so go there to take pictures.

Andre

Has there been any update for this?
For NL we have the followonig statisticspage:
http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wikiproject/Erfgoed/Nederlandse_Erfgo...
That is done outsite the database at the moment by somebody else, but
of
course all data is in the database.
Can something like this already be generated via the Api? I have a
request
from Romaine if this can be done for BE as well, and it is probably of intrest to all countries?

Andre

I've added a new option: 'groupby', values: country or item.
Grouping by country may be more interesting for countries in
particular.
Example:

PS: By the way, graph for 'pt' looks pretty ugly, we really should update our database :P

Maarten and all,
I've done already the most part for the statistics. I'll have to
recall
how to get in to the toolserver to merge it into the API, but here is
a
preview (based on an old DB dump):

Here is a graph example:

Here is a table example:

Not sure what else would be usefull, though.
