Once again, and especially for those with small teams and lack of time,
may I advise you to compile the data in an Excel file or alike, instead
of going to the wiki, so you can get a real database as soon as
possible. It's far easier to build the wiki lists from the database than
the opposite (although Maarten's bot does a good job at it), not
mentioning having to struggle with the Wiki syntax.
Furthermore, for those new to WLM, WLM-Portugal setup some tools in last
year's "official" site to help volunteers to enrich the data (fix
coordinates, browse the lists, compile current image usage, link with
commons category, etc); if you think you could benefit from it, let us know.
But this mail caught my attention on another subject - unfortunately
does not help Bangladesh, though: as you may know, the Portuguese Empire
in the middle ages left a lot of "monuments" spread around the globe.
One of our partners shared a list with us which contained some cataloged
buildings and sites from other countries (than Portugal) that may not
necessarily be "official" monuments, but had some patrimonial interest.
Maybe this interests to some one, it would be funny that Portugal could
partner with - say - India for a special prize on these monuments (names
in Portuguese):

Little update about arranging Wiki Loves Monuments in
Bangladesh.
As you know we're arranging this even for the first time, and we have a
really small number of volunteers to work on this. We have created our
on-wiki list in Bangla Wikipedia which can be found at
http://bit.ly/JtrBCt -- this is a list of 391 monuments in Bangladesh.
This list is indeed incomplete, but that's the only list we found out
from Department of Archeology, Bangladesh. We had an idea to find out
the monuments with more inquiry (mostly local inquiries with local
museums and organization so far), but we decided to go with those for
now. We do not have much time and volunteers for this for this year.
Not everything is on-wiki yet, however we hope to put everything on-wiki
soon. Also we prepared a draft of our own timeline of this event. We may
skip things like creating a new OTRS queue for WLM because we do not
have sufficient eligible and available volunteers to work on this so we
will simply use our chapter queue. Also about the website, dot org dot
bd domains can only be assigned by BTCL to a locally registered
organization. We hope to get the site up upon confirmation of the
registration of our chapter that I can only hope to be completed soon.
Although we have many problems but WMBD still hopes to arrange the WLM
with success.
