Bear in mind also, that vast majority of people will visit our page
attracted by centralnotice banner from Wikimedia projects, so we
should also follow WMF privacy regulations...
This shows the legislations difference between different countries.
I guess that if you stored the pageviews yourselves, you would still
need to register it locally (1) and have the privacy policy (2).
I'm not convinced that the page views count as personal data, though.
You are free not to store the stats, obviously. That way there will be
no legal problem at all :)
