Hi,
ideally, it would be to call the government and ask if they dont have an identifier hidden somewhere.
A second option would be to invent an identifier, but dont make it too prominent in the table - but make it easy to find for uploaders.

Hello all,
In the country Luxembourg we have monuments, but so far we know these
monuments have no unique identifier. It seems an important aspect of the monument lists in other countries (Belgium, Netherlands, etc) that the photo's have an identifier so that they are easily matched with the monument lists. As we know nothing about unique identifiers, how do who solve that situation?
- Should we leave the monuments without unique identifier?
- Should we create our own unique identifier? Like one based on for
example the community with us giving a number to a monument in the order of when a monument got listed?
- Anyone a idea?
Do all monuments have an adress? Can postalcode+streetnumber be unique enough perhaps (like in NL).

Andre
