Santi,
We've shared the news on the WMCZ FB, I'd like to translate the meta page in Czech in case I'll have enough time for that.

Hello. After Wiki Loves Monuments in September, Wikimedia Spain launches a new contest. A Wikipedia challenge, like Umepedia, Catalan challenge, and many other. We invite you to participate in this challenge. You can create or improve articles about monuments in Spain, in every language.

Thank you.

I am sure most of us use the following statistics page:
http://tools.wmflabs.org/wlm-stats/
It is excellent and very helpful.
I noticed however that the statistics for previous years stopped on October
1, despite the fact that Israel ran the competition later. This year the
problem is much more acute: we have a number of countries running it later,
two as late as November 1. Is it possible to extend the statistics page to
capture post-October 1 statistics?
Thanks,
—Yan (Ynhockey).
Hello all!
The deadline of sending in the 10 winning photos is: *1 November*.
You have the full month of October to have the jury decide which photos are
the 10 winners.
You can add your 10 winning photos yourself to:
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wiki_Loves_Monuments_2014_winners
If your prize giving ceremony is later then 1 November, you can keep the 10
winners of your country a secret until you have hold the prize giving
ceremony. But then you need to send the 10 winning photos to me (Romaine)
with the date of when they will be published.
I will keep track of all countries on:
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Monuments_2014/Winners
If there is any delay: inform me!
If your country has a different contest period, we need to have your 10
winning photos at the latest on 15 November.

Hello all,
The team from Wiki Loves Monuments in Belgium and Luxembourg organises on
28 September a Wiki Takes... photo tour in the city Leuven (Louvain) to
make photos of the local cultural heritage. Leuven has a large number of
monuments of what we have no photo of on Wikipedia. Still, we would like to
make visible on Wikipedia which monuments there are in this city.
On 28 September, we therefore set off to take this city on photo. In
several groups of 2 or 3 people, we follow a route through the city to
photograph the monuments. Each group gets a list of monuments on that
route. More details will follow on the day itself. Afterwards there will be
an opportunity to have a drink paid by us and talk about the day.
See for more information and signing up the website at:

Hi All,
What measures are in place to cope with vandalism or irrelevant
submission to WLM?
I recall that last year we only had a few photos uploaded by mistake.
Some people commented that deletion is not an appropriate measure and
photos should be allowed to remain on Common. So, we just removed WLM
templates and categories.
Here is an example from this year.
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/OzzyStar
He makes submission to both Ukraine and Thailand.
TL
Dear all,
If there is sufficient interest from the community, I will propose a workshop on the WLM participants' survey and the insights we can gather from it.
I think it is important that as many people involved in the organization of WLM 2012 and WLM 2013 as possible take part in the workshop, so we can get some collective sense making going.
So please sign up on the proposal page if you are interested:
https://wikimania2014.wikimedia.org/wiki/Submissions/What_can_we_learn_from…
It would certainly also be possible to present the results from the organizers' survey during the same workshop (possibly asking for a bit more time). Please let me know if that would be an option.
Concerning the participants' survey in 2014, we discussed with John Andersson about having one survey for all photo contests during this year.
Please let me know what you think. - Whether a participants' survey will be carried out this year at all, will probably also depend on the interest among WLM organizers. It's a lot of work; so I would suggest doing it only if there is a concrete demand for it. Any feedback is appreciated.
Kind regards,
Beat

Hi all,
We're having a little problem to manage the jury tool app and I was
wondering if someone else besides David Narvaez have the know-how to help
us?
This problem is not related with WLM, we're working with another contest.
Kind Regards,
