Dear all,
I am working for Wikimedia Germany together with Nicole and am currently
helping out with the Wiki Loves Monuments project.
Right now I am trying to find the cheapest way to order all of the T-Shirts
in one place and have them send to the participating countries by the shirt
printing company.
Hopefully the negotiations will be done within the next couple days and the
T-Shirt printer can start doing his job.
In order to send them to you, we will need adresses.
My request: Please send me a delivery adress containing:
- Name
- Street & house number
- Postal Code
- Town
- Country
so we can start sending out the shirts as soon as possible.
We are planning on sending about 20 shirts to each country. If you think
that is not enough / too much for you, please also contact me.
Thanks for your cooperation in advance!
Simon

Hello all,
As Benoît already told on this list some time ago (if I remember well),
people from Wikimédia France went to the European Parliament in Brussels by
the end of June. There, we discussed a certain number of things, including
the possibility of hosting a European WLM Awards Ceremony in the Espace
Léopold/Leopoldruimte(1) (in December according to the timeline (2))
We are now in late August, so the parliamentary vacations will end soon and
it's time to contact them again... But before doing that, I need to know if
people from the other European countries are as excited as we are at
Wikimédia France by this opportunity.
What do you think about it ?
Regards,

Hi everyone,
last year we had a small widget running on wlm.nl with the latest
uploaded photos. I worked together with Maarten on making the same
thing for all countries this year. Check out the wlm.nl homepage here:
http://wikilovesmonuments.nl
We currently have one photo there, but i'm sure it will have more
photos in the next few days ;)
It's an iframe you can include on your own site. Simply copy-paste
this piece of code and replace 'COUNTRY' for your country (they're the
same as the Commons categories:
https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/wiki/Category:Images_from_Wi…)
and if you want 'THUMB' with a thumbsize (defaults to 150px).
<iframe src="http://files.wmnederland.nl/wlm-latest/?country=COUNTRY&thumb=THUMB"
width="700" height="170" scrolling="no" frameborder="0"></iframe>
Let me know if you find any bugs.

Hi Jørund,
Any update? I wonder what you decided about what to include in the contest.
I included the European mailinglist. Maybe someone can assist you with
converting your lists.

About the lists:
* at nl-wiki we have all the lists from Flanders, Wallonia, Brussels and Luxembourg translated into Dutch.
* at fr-wiki there aren't any lists of monuments of municipalities. However we have in Wallonia and for Luxembourg information about the monuments available in French, on the website and in a pdf-file. We are still waiting for users from fr-wiki to create those lists with the monuments, and to undelete those which had been created earlier but got deleted for no reason. Who can take this up at fr-wiki: undelete and create all the lists of Belgium and Luxembourg.
* at de-wiki not much has been done about monuments in Belgium and Luxembourg, we are still waiting for users of de-wiki who want to create the lists of monuments on their wiki.
* at en-wiki the same situation, we are waiting for users of en-wiki who can set up the lists.
Ans yes it is possible to get that done, as we got that done too on nl-wiki. If help is needed or the lists have been created, please let me know!
And the next step should be a Belgian chapter, covering the country Luxembourg as well. We from Wiki Loves Monuments Belgium/Luxembourg got supported by Wikimedia Netherlands, Wikimedia France and Wikimedia Deutschland. Let those chapters also support us with the creation of the Belgian chapter!
The logo we already have: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Wikimedia_Belgium_logo.svg
And to make communication easier we need http://be.wikimedia.org
Yes, help wanted!
Greetings - Romaine

Hi everyone,
I just added the Denmark and Austria websites to
www.wikilovesmonuments.eu Most countries now have a nice website. Good job!
Some countries still seem to be lacking a website:
* Norway, there is only a place holder at http://wikilovesmonuments.no/
. Update anyone?
* Sweden, just a map of Rotterdam (!) at
http://www.wikilovesmonuments.se/ . Update anyone?
* Russia, haven't heard anything from Russia for quite some time.
Maarten
Hi, we need that the bot pass some lists in spanish wikipedia because it's
data is more acute in others wikis like wp:gl or wp:ca. Is there a
wiki-command that says to the bot don't process them?.
Thanks!,
Elisardojm
Hello,
I just editted the www.wikilovesmonuments.com site.
My client didn't pay for it and I guess it was just another trick to make my
company lose money, this is the last time new clients can choose the option
to pay after the domain is registered.
I would like to know who in the foundation I can contact to give the domain
to.
