Hi everyone,
Starting Wiki Loves Monuments in Belgium is a bit of a challenge. To
make things easier Wikimedia Nederland registered the site
http://wikilovesmonuments.be and started a mailing list to discus the
project in Belgium at
http://lists.wmnederland.nl/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/wlm-be . People
from Belgium: Please help! Other people: Please point out the list to
your friends from Belgium :-)

Hi all.
Has been a pleasure to meet you all in Berlin.
I wanted to share this link:
http://www.hyperorg.com/blogger/2011/05/17/dpla-europeana
about Europeana and the meeting they're having in The Haag.
Moreover, today I added "Statistics" as an Open Issue in our results:
I was wondering if we could ask to the Foundation, instead of a grant,
some work-time of Erik Zachte to set up a central/federal tool for
statistics in Commons.
He is probably the best person for that, and a tool ad hoc could serve
many participant countries.
(Actually, i'm thinking that asking work-time of an employee instead
of "mere" money
could be an efficient idea to get things done: we could talk about
this to Sj, and then the Board of Trustees could discuss about it.)
Still hoping to participate,
cheers,
Aubrey

I assume good faith and that people are lazy: Lot of the svg maps of
Europe are broken or incomplete but nobody bothered to fix it.
Feel free to update the map with a more correct one.

Swedish update:
We have talked to National Heritage Board and Nordiska museet and hope soon we will be able to announce a cooperation with them. I'm the new project manager. We have been a little late, but we will work very hard from now on.
More information coming soon.

Hi,
While looking at the Etherpad report of last weekend's meeting, I
noticed that you're looking to get in touch with OSM. In Romania, we
have pretty close connections with the OSM volunteers and we could
probably provide support on that side. Please let me know if there is
something specific that WLM would need (other than having a map of the
monuments)
Thanks,
Strainu

Dear All,
this is just to remind you that this past Wednesday the announcement
that we've collectively written at the meeting in Berlin, should have
been published at your local Village Pumps.
The result of our work and the draft is available at the Commons here[1]
- -- as far as I know, the announcement has been already published at the
Dutch and at the Polish Wikipedia.
Please let us know if you publish the announcement so we could easily
keep track of what has already been done.

P.S. Thank you all for a great time in Berlin! I haven't been able to
say goodbye to all of you, but I've really enjoyed my time at the meeting.
Warm regards,
