I'm pleased to announce that the Affiliations Committee has recognized Wikimedia LGBT+ User Group [1] as a Wikimedia User Group [2]. The group is focused on developing the community of LGBT Wikimedians and LGBT content within Wikimedia projects, and plans to be active around the world.
