There are no good web frontends for NNTP. (GMane and Google Groups both manage "worst of both worlds".) Of course, there's the "what NNTP died of" problem. Here's a recent LessWrong thread in which I posit it died of not being on the Web and Gwern suggests it was actually good killfiling:
