Non-found page text broken?

Hi, I'm getting this text when searching for page that doesn't exist: No page with that title exists. You can [[::Aoeuaouo|create this article]] or request it. That is, in the rendered page, I'm actually seeing [[:: etc. Someone break something? This is on EN btw. Steve

Weird, according to the page history, the only change (made today) shouldn't have touched that bit. Maybe the change had been made a while ago but for some reason wasn't taken into account, until the page was resaved today? Strange. Thanks for pointing me to that anyway. Steve

The content of the parameter "$1" of the system message is specified by MediaWiki software, not by the system message itself (it just specifies where to put it in the message). Steve Bennett wrote:

The English Wikipedians added the ":" to the message *before* it was automatically added to the parameter, then the developers added it to the parameter, so there are two ":" signs. Steve Bennett wrote:

Disagree on the "::" answer. I think they were the <nowiki> tags http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=MediaWiki:Nogomatch&diff=next… as i just removed them from MediaWiki:Pagemovedtext where it broke on the same way (there were no ':' before). Platonides
