Hi,
I am interested in this idea, I haven't contributed to the Wikimedia yet
but I have been actively following Wikimedia org for the last 3-4 months in
search of interesting projects to work upon, I guess I have found one!

Dear Sir,
I thank you for your answer. I invite you to see

related to Wikifacts. The senior author is Jiawei Han, one of the most
cited scientists. There are other interesting related papers at

Dear Sir,
I thank you for your answer. I also discussed an idea to create a
structured edition of Wikinews that can be easily curated and efficiently
enriched from the RSS Feeds. I presented it in the WikiSpore day. Please
check
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q75Fv7Snc_w at 1:26:36. If the idea
goes in line with the Wikifacts project, we will be honored to help in
turning it into practice. However, I am for the idea of letting it hosted
as a part of Wikinews just as Structured Commons.
Yours Sincerely,
Houcemeddine Turki

Thank you Andre, Richard, and Mateus. I have created a project proposal
for Wikifact:
https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikifact . I hope to
improve it as discussion unfolds. While awaiting a new channel or working
group to discuss the pros and cons, please feel free to make use of the
project proposal page and its discussion page.

I am very interested in this idea.
This thread could be the genesis of a Working Group? I believe we could
have a centralized place to discuss the pros and cons, what's the best
channel?
Best,
Mateus

Not sure why this was crossposted to wikitech-l@. Please see

If someone does have such a proposal, you are welcome to implement it as
one of the "spores" on Wikispore:
