Pessoal,
lendo esses dias o artigo "What open source licensing could learn from Creative Commons" http://opensource.com/law/12/12/open-source-licensing-creative-commons, encontrei essa proposta para mudarem o nome da restrição não comercial das licenças Creative Commons para "Commercial Rights Reserved" (Direitos comerciail reservados).
http://wiki.creativecommons.org/Commercial_Rights_Reserved
Há quem defenda a remoção dessas restrições, como a Open Knowledge Foundation e os Estudantes pela Cultura Livre, vejam
* Making a Real Commons: Creative Commons should Drop the Non-Commercial and No-Derivatives Licenses http://blog.okfn.org/2012/10/04/making-a-real-commons-creative-commons-should-drop-the-non-commercial-and-no-derivatives-licenses/ * Stop the inclusion of proprietary licenses in Creative Commons 4.0 http://freeculture.org/blog/2012/08/27/stop-the-inclusion-of-proprietary-licenses-in-creative-commons-4-0/ * The Future of Creative Commons: Examining defenses of the NC and ND clauses http://freeculture.org/blog/2012/09/19/the-future-of-creative-commons-examining-defenses-of-the-nc-and-nd-clauses/
E todos aqui sabemos a confusão que muitos fazem achando que só porque está usando uma licença Creative Commons o uso é livre.
Abraços,
Tom
