I have another idea: I know a very cool space with a big roof-top terrace with a view over Habib Bourguiba Avenue. We can rent it and get a catering service that can satisfy all participants needs (vegan, vegetarian, etc), bring all kind of drinks, and people can wear what ever they want (maybe there are non binary people among the participants who won't feel comfortable with public places). Actually I was going to suggest this idea as one of the dinners for WikiConvention next year, so it can be a good opportunity to test it next week. What do you think? Just a few thoughts for the group: 1) Stay high level as bylaws are setting rules and principles and not detailing each and every action (ex. affiliation renewal process), the more detailed the bylaws the more difficult it will be to manage the group. 2) Is the payment of membership fees legal if the group is not formally an association? 3) Excluding a member only refers to the group as nothing prevents someone to participate to Wikimedia projects as an independent user, under IP or a sockpuppet account. 4) For quotas, I think we should define an objective of equal representation but not define true quotas. The risk in that last scenario is that you do not have the "right" candidates which may prevent the group from functioning. I am happy to help formalize any change the group decides to make to the draft if needed or to share WMCH experience in any area. Regards, Mourad

Ceux-ci sont signalés en rouge dans le texte actuel pour que tous puissent les distinguer du texte original. @ Houssem/Yamen : N’hésitez pas à corriger mes propositions si je vous ai mal compris ou à en faire d’autres. I suggest something more authentic such Dar Zarrouk in Sidi Bou Said or Dar Bayram in the medina (very accessible, can host 50 people and I think alcohol is available as well). Yet, such options require transportation. The venues you mentionned are usually very crowded and not suitable for a discussion. I am not sure also if they can privatize them for our gathering as it will be the week-end, time most of people of Tunis go out after september. Yet, I am thinking maybe Yuka can privatize its new roof top directed by Ali Mrabet? It has a weekly planning but it doesn't seem that successful.. Not sure about that. Nicole suggested in her email to schedule a social activity on the 20th of September to connect with our group during an evening of local food and culture. The event will be organised by us and funded via a grant that we will submit to the foundation once we assessed the budget related to this social event. About the "harmonization sprint" Several wikimedians from different countries and organisations will be present at this event where they will try to harmonize their groups' recommendations to one coherent set of recommendations. We expect around ~40 people from the working group, the core team, the WMF and external support to participate in that event so a total of around 60 people. The event is invitation only thus the purpose to have a separate social event with our group.  The Strategy Core Team considered several cities and they decide to hold this event in Tunis as they kept very good souvenirs from WikiIndaba last year and this is an honor for our country and our group.  Since some attendees need a visa, the organisers of the event asked CLibre to provide some invitation letters which CLibre did promptly (Thanks CLibre!). Participants au call: Hamed, Helmi, Houssem,Mourad, Sami,Sarhane, Yamen, ZeinebMembres n'ayant pas pu joindre le call et qui ont envoyé un email avec leur avis sur les statuts: Habib, Rached. Décisions prises: -Avoir deux groupes de membres: Sympathisants et Votants (ou A et B). Partant du principe qu'on est un mouvement ouvert, n'importe quelle personne qui rempli le formulaire d'inscription, motive son inscription et paye les frais d’adhésion peut devenir membre. Néanmoins afin de devenir un membre votant il faut remplir l'une de conditions suivantes: avoir un compte wikimedia qui date plus qu'un an ou bien un compte wikimedia qui date moins d'un an mais actif pendant les derniers 6 mois qui précédant la date du vote. (article 3 à mettre à jour) -demander au nouveaux membres s'il veulent être parrainés par un membre ancien. Le parrainage reste optionnel vu que le nouveau membre peut ne par en avoir besoin.(article 3 à mettre à jour) -Fixer les frais d'adhésion à 20 dinars et les inscrire dans les statuts. Prévoir la possibilité de  demander la prise en charge des frais d’adhésion (pour les étudiants et chômeurs par exemple).(article 3 à mettre à jour) -La radiation d'un membre n'est pas définitive. Néanmoins un membre radié doit attendre au moins une année avant de soumettre une nouvelle demande d'inscription en la motivant. Il faut prévoir d'ajouter une question dans le formulaire d'inscription pour demander si la personne a été radiée avant ou pas.(article 3 à mettre à jour) -Verser les frais d’adhésion à CLibre comme solution à court terme (tant qu'il n'y a pas une association Wikiemdia Tunisie) mais en signant un MoU entre le futur baord du groupe et CLibre afin de décrire d'une façon formelle les droits et responsabilités de chaque partie. Le futur trésorier du groupe coordonnera avec CLibre et fera le suivi financier. (article 10 à mettre à jour) -Afin de se représenter au Board il faut deux années d'ancienneté dans le groupe. (article 6 et 13 à mettre à jour) -Appel aux membres actuels de faire partie d'un board constitutif pour préparer la future liste des membres et les prochaines élections. Les conditions de constitution de ce board constitutif sont les suivantes (article 13 à mettre à jour):          1-le nombre minimal des membres pour le board constitutif est fixé à 3         2-les membres qui veulent faire partie de ce board constitutif s'engagent à ne pas se présenter pour les premières élections qui seront organisées par le board constitutif. Ils sont libres néanmoins de se présenter pour les prochaines élections.        3-les membres s'engagent à organiser les élections dans les plus proches délais. PS: Pour ceux qui veulent faire partie du board constitutif, ils peuvent ajouter leur noms dans cette page. Prochaines actions: 1-mettre à jour les statuts tenant compte des décisions ci-dessus.2-se mettre d'accord sur une date butoir pour fixer les membres du board constitutif (personnellement je propose la fin du moi 31/10/2019).3-Une fois le board constitutif est fixé:        -Il fait en sorte qu'il n'y a pas de commentaire en suspens en relation avec les statuts (s'il n'y a pas d'unanimité sur les statuts il peut procéder par un vote une fois la liste des membres est fixée).         -Il publiera le formulaire et la procédure d'inscription.         -Il annoncera aussi une timeline claire pour la tenue des prochaines élections (personnellement je propose dans deux mois cad début janvier). Selon les participants actuels il y a un petit  consensus sur le dimanche 20/10 à 15h. -l'objectif de la réunion sera de discuter les commentaire et de mettre à jour le brouillon afin de proposer une version finale. -proposer la version finale pour un vote/validation en ligne pendant X jours (à confirmer mais si on va faire la réunion le dimanche on peut se mettre d'accord sur la fin du mois comme date butoir) et si elle obtient plus de + que de - on adopte les statuts et on annonce la composition du premier conseil qui pourra commencer ses taches le 1er novembre. We can rent it and get a catering service that can satisfy all participants needs (vegan, vegetarian, etc), bring all kind of drinks, and people can wear what ever they want (maybe there are non binary people among the participants who won't feel comfortable with public places). I suggest something more authentic such Dar Zarrouk in Sidi Bou Said or Dar Bayram in the medina (very accessible, can host 50 people and I think alcohol is available as well). Yet, such options require transportation. The venues you mentionned are usually very crowded and not suitable for a discussion. I am not sure also if they can privatize them for our gathering as it will be the week-end, time most of people of Tunis go out after september. Yet, I am thinking maybe Yuka can privatize its new roof top directed by Ali Mrabet? It has a weekly planning but it doesn't seem that successful.. Not sure about that. Nicole suggested in her email to schedule a social activity on the 20th of September to connect with our group during an evening of local food and culture. The event will be organised by us and funded via a grant that we will submit to the foundation once we assessed the budget related to this social event. For the members that are not in Tunis, they are of course welcomed and we will make sure to take into account the expenses related to their transportation to come to Tunis from their Tunisian cities.  Final comment: since the event is in the evening (~ 20:00) maybe we (Tunisian members) can gather before that to discuss the bylaws shared recently. About the "harmonization sprint" Several wikimedians from different countries and organisations will be present at this event where they will try to harmonize their groups' recommendations to one coherent set of recommendations. We expect around ~40 people from the working group, the core team, the WMF and external support to participate in that event so a total of around 60 people. The event is invitation only thus the purpose to have a separate social event with our group.  The Strategy Core Team considered several cities and they decide to hold this event in Tunis as they kept very good souvenirs from WikiIndaba last year and this is an honor for our country and our group.  Since some attendees need a visa, the organisers of the event asked CLibre to provide some invitation letters which CLibre did promptly (Thanks CLibre!). Bonjour tout le monde, Merci Yamen pour ce mail bien détaillé, merci également à tous ceux qui ont réalisé ce nouveau projet. J’ai bien lu tous les messages ainsi que les pages sur Meta la semaine dernière. Je n’ai pas pu assister au Call vu que j’ai travaillé en tant qu’intérim ces 2 derniers week-end. The Strategy Core Team considered several cities and they decide to hold this event in Tunis as they kept very good souvenirs from WikiIndaba last year and this is an honor for our country and our group.
