Hoi, http://translatewiki.net/wiki/Translating:Wikimedia_mobile is the project page at translatewiki.net When all messages are localised, the message saying that we do not have a localisation will go away.
A mobile main page needs to be created. Configurations like this need to be entered by one of the admins, the localisations go life once a week, sometimes more often. So yes, bugzilla is a good idea :)
The mobile interface will work without a main page, without a localisation but it will not make our readers happy. It is either too sparse or it looks like not ready for use.. It turned me off the first time I saw this. Thanks, GerardM

Thanks!
So, let me get this straight:
- http://he.m.wikipedia.org/ already exists, but says "Homepage Not Yet
Configured" 2. If i translate 25 messages to Hebrew, it will just work? Or do i need to open a Bugzilla ticket? 3. If it's just a matter of translating of translating 25 messages to Hebrew, where do i start?

Hoi, I am really happy to have learned that mobile support for Right To Left languages, think Arabic, Farsi, Urdu, Hebrew has been implemented. When people start to find their way to their Wikipedia on their mobile, we
stand
to gain many readers.
Did you know:
- That it takes only 25 messages to localise the Mobile interface in
your
language completely
- That this software is written in Ruby
- That hcatlin and thedj are doing much of the work on this software
- That the mobile interface can be found at http://xx.m.wikipedia.org
(xx
is your language code)
- That we need a main page for mobile Wikipedia
- That for Mobile Wiktionary still points to Wikipedia
As always, we need your help to help people find their way to Wikipedia
it
does not take much to improve things for the mobile.. Thanks, GerardM
PS languages like Malayalam, Swahili and Bengali shine with their newly localised interface _______________________________________________ foundation-l mailing list foundation-l@lists.wikimedia.org Unsubscribe: https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/foundation-l
