Dear wikimedians,
On behalf the Affiliations Committee and as a result of the call of candidates made on past September [1] is my pleasure to announce you that 5 new voting members have been appointed to join us for the next two years and to serve to Wikimedia affiliates. [2] The new members are:
* Manuel Schneider * Ganesh Paudel * Emily Temple-Wood * Ting Chen * Anirudh Singh Bhati
Congratulations to them and thanks to all the volunteers that sent us their applications.
Currently the AffCom is composed as follows:
Carlos Colina, Josh Lim, Salvador Alcántar, Tanvir Rahman, Greg Varnum, with terms scheduled to expire at the end of 2014; Galileo Vidoni, Kirill Lokshin with terms scheduled to expire at the end of 2015; Manuel Schneider, Ganesh Paudel, Emily Temple-Wood, Ting Chen and Anirudh Singh Bhati, with terms scheduled to expire at the end of 2016, and serve as full voting members.
