That sounds like an additional freedom (to Google), rather than a restriction. Just because Google can license it under something else doesn't mean we can't continue to use it under the original license.
Technically it's not a restriction, right, rather it's a caution about being aware of what kinds of control you surrender when entering into such an arrangement.
