The annual plan doesn’t list all the projects and technical features that staff work on throughout the year, as those may change based on evolving needs and ongoing conversations. To further clarify that point, my colleagues have updated the FAQs to note that some of the conversations started during the annual plan (including the one Paulo mentioned) will continue to be live.
There have been a number of changes to the annual plan during the community feedback period. Among them are revisions related to:
- Making it easier to know who to talk to about what both within the annual plan [1][2][3] and the wider Foundation; [4] - Clarifying our metrics; [5] - Discussing large language models; [6] - Clarifying our technical work; [7] - Refining our Campaigns key result; [8] - Linking to regional priorities such as the Africa Agenda and addressing content gaps; [9][10][11] - Updating many Product & Technology objectives (including the addition of new ones); [12] and - Clarifying timelines. [13]
More changes continue to be made.

I'm quite interested in the process to approve the Annual Plan. In the last months there has been a quite relevant amount of discussion about the lack of vision, mission and alignment with our strategy in this plan. However, all of this feedback has been systematically dismissed or ignored, and it seems that not even a comma has been changed from the original plan. Is the BoT going to approve the Annual Plan as it is, or is there any possibility for amendment?
