Let's keep it short.
As for myself I am Jean-Baptiste Soufron, a legal advisor specialized in IP and contracts, I worked in France and in Japan but I am currently working on my PhD at Paris 2 University with a scholarship from the CNRS.
I participate to many projects like jiraf (http://www.jiraf.org), audionautes (http://www.audionautes.net), creative commons, etc. You can have a look at my blog, with a few thoughts regarding wikipedia :
Of course, I am available all day long on #wikipedia to troll and answer legal questions.
Thanks,
Jean-Baptiste Soufron

Only a limited number of people will receive the mails. The recipiendaries will be
- the members of the WMF board (so, for now, Jimbo, Angela, Anthere,
- Tim and Michael) the presidents of local associations (currently,
- Ryo for the french board and Kurt for the german board) Legal
- advisors. For now, three have agreed to join, Soufron, Aurevilly
- and Micha?l Snow. Others have been contacted but have not answered
- yet. Others might be soon contacted.
To be clear about this, we don't want this to be a general discussion list but the exact parameters of who should be on it is somewhat flexible. We seek participation from lawyers and from people directly and officially involved in legal issues with the local associations.
That's exactly it. Plus, everybody can send emails...
I have actually been wondering if you guys could not write down a bit about your background ? Not sure all of you would agree to do this though.
If you do, we could put that on wmf.
