Thank you very much, Kirill and Affcom. (:
Just a small amendment: we also have likely members in the British Columbia Province of Canada, and we are proud to include them in our membership if they wish to affiliate with Cascadia Wikimedians.
Our most frequent activities occur in the Seattle and Portland areas, and we aspire to support additional cities in our region. In addition to the British Columbia Province, Washington State, and Oregon State, we have some email list subscribers in Idaho State and from other regions of the United States and Canada.
Personally I would like to take a moment to thank the leadership of an open-source and privacy advocacy organization, the Seattle chapter of TA3M, who have been enormously helpful in providing us with information about open source groups in the Seattle area and who have invited us to speak at their meetings. I would also like to acknowledge the University of Washington for its direct and indirect support of open source, open data, and open research projects including Wikipedia and TA3M. I hope that Cascadians will add to this list if there are additional supporters who we should acknowledge.
Thanks very much,
Pine
