I'm pleased to announce that the Affiliations Committee has recognized Wikimedia Ghana User Group [1] as a Wikimedia User Group [2]. The group plans to support the Ghanaian Wikimedia contributing community, to promote Wikimedia projects and free content in Ghana, and to encourage the use of Wikimedia resources in education.
