Fiscal year 2021 was an extremely pivotal time for the Wikimedia Foundation’s commitment to providing reliable and neutral information to the world. The COVID-19 pandemic shaped many of our experiences during this time, and as the world moved online, we experienced a significant increase in Wikipedia’s traffic as well as donor support.
