I agree, there is no good reason for there to be no Chinese Wikinews.Wikimedia has already been blocked so the old logic that "we have to be good boys and girls, otherwise the Communists will block us" is kind of obsolete. Or maybe Wikimedia has become so spineless that we've moved onto the next level: "If we don't start a Chinese Wikinews, maybe the Chinese Communists will stop blocking Chinese Wikipedia and other projects." We're effectively asking "How high?" before the ChiComs ask us to jump. I really, really think that the current lack of Chinese Wikinews is a disgrace.More than the minimum of 5 have expressed an interest in a Chinese Wikinews. As well as that, a fully functional pre-launch exists. Why not get a Chinese Wikinews up-and-running?
