Hello Delphine,
I am so grateful to have a chance to work with you. You are my big sister+friend in this movement. I remember the first time I edited Indonesian Wikipedia was 16 years ago, when I was in high school. At the time, personal computers and the internet were not widely used in Indonesia. As a newcomer, I got so many corrections and constructive feedback from senior volunteers, my writing was awful, I have got several warnings as well, but I grew up with the community like my own family. We are not related by blood for sure, but the community does.
This is how I picture our relationship, I am the newbie in the organisation and can grow my leadership and organisation because I got a chance to collaborate with many wonderful people like you. Changing our organisational culture was the hardest part for me, but by emphasizing on open, honest and clear communication makes us grow bigger and more stable, I can say that I am proud to be part of Wikimedia Indonesia because of our wonderful coworkers, volunteer community, and members.
I believe we will still cross our paths in the future. So, see you again! Please stay safe and be healthy. :)
All the best from Indonesia, Biyanto

Dear Biyanto,
It has been such a joy to work with you over the years and see how you accompanied the growth and strategic development of Wikimedia Indonesia, developing with your excellent team a number of flagship community programs such as WikiLatih, motivating dozens and dozens of volunteers across the richness of languages and geographies of Indonesia and caring for community development.
I want to thank you for your professional excellence and the collegial way you have helped shape a strong Wikimedia Indonesia as well as develop a true regional presence for Wikimedia in the ESEAP region by working with and supporting other groups.
I am sad to see you go, but very happy to see Rachmat coming into your role. Our work together tells me he will be bring conviction and hard work to the role.
My congratulations to the new board and thanks to those leaving for their service.
May the path ahead bring you joy.
Best,
Delphine

Dear all,
I would like to inform you that Wikimedia Indonesia has been successfully holding annual general meetings in a hybrid event. On 19 February, our AGM elected a new Chair of the Board of Executive, @Rachmat Wahidi rachmat.wahidi@wikimedia.or.id. Rachmat has been involved in Wikimedia Indonesia since 2014. He has been a very useful and kind-hearted person for all of us in Wikimedia Indonesia.
Beside the new chair, we elected the new board of trustees as well.
- Ichsan Mochtar,
- Annisa Ayu Maharani,
- Andri Humardhani,
- Hendra Prastiawan, and
- Fachria Marasabessy. (re-elected)
Thanks to our previous Board of Executives (Ivonne Kristiani, Hillun Vilayl Napis, Thirza Ria Vandari, Djohan Hasibuan) and Board of Trustees (Rinto Jio, Fachria Marassabessy, Fajarwati).
We hope this new change can bring a more hopeful future for WMID. I will still be around Wikimedia Indonesia until June 2020, to make sure the transition is going smoothly. :)
For Affiliates and Chairperson mailinglist's admin, please help to remove me and add Rachmat for future communication.
Best, Biyanto Rebin
