I think it's relevant for the Spanish speaking countries. In my country the media have this theme today and the Princesa de Asturias Prize (formerly Príncipe de Asturias) is compared frequently to the Nobel Prize for the Iberoamerican world.

Thanks for the updating. This prize is the most prestigious in Spain and today, at Wikipedia España, we have had a day of many interviews, televisions, newspapers...
