Chapters Dialogue: Session and movie world premiere.

Hi all, at 12:15 today, in Auditorium 1, I will be giving a talk about the insights of the Chapters Dialogue project. In this project we have interviewed 94 Wikimedians from Chapters, the WMF, FDC and AffCom, and the findings provide a comprehensive overview of the state of the movement. Return of the lent power adapter

Dear all, on Thursday I lent my power adapter (UK to EU/US plug) to the Wikimania registration desk in level -1 and I try to get it back since then. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be there anymore and I can't find the person who I gave it to. It is beige and has my initials "MS" on it. Please return it to the Crew Office until 16:00 today. Monday lounge

Hello Wikimania London team, On Monday most of us will check out from Travelodge or the Thistle in the morning, but many of us won't be leaving London until afternoon or evening. Will there be a hangout space in the Barbican or the WMUK office for those who're staying on Monday? Deryck

Lila's keynote speech at Wikimania 2014

Hi all, I would like to encourage those of us who may have missed Lila's keynote speech at Wikimania to listen to it. [1] In her speech, Lila takes a long view of Wikimedia's history and future. She talks about incremental and disruptive changes that are happening socially and technologically such as the shift toward mobile and wearable computing, and the use of technology in the developing world. She also talks about modes of contribution, and changes inside the Wikimedia projects that would encourage more people to participate actively. Thanks very much, Lila.
