Dear all,
Thanks to the stuffers for stuffing enough delegate bags today for the
largest ever Wikimania.
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Wikimania_2014_-_the_bags_are_stuff…
As well as a tube map and Wikimania program there were several other things
in each bag, any guesses please send off list. The best guess gets a prize
set of four wikipedia beermats.
Hint. All contents will fit into a cotton bag and none require
refrigeration or air holes.
See you all soon
Regards
Jonathan aka WereSpielChequers
Dear Wikimaniacs.
Are there any Wikipedians from the South Pacific who will attend the Wikimania in London? I'll stay there in the coming year for a couple of month, probably in Fiji and/or Kiribati. I would be pleased to meet you in London and look at what we can do together in the future.
With kind regards from Bremen,
Matthias Süßen

In fact, my submission is still "open" but it's not included in the schedule. However, I got to the conclusion that it had been rejected when I didn't get any message at all. As Cooper says, this is something that future organizers may have to take into account. In other Wikimanias (this is my fifth) I remember having received a message stating that my submission had been accepted. But, as this is the first time that it's not, I thought that only successful candidates received messages. It's good to know that.
See you there soon,

Hi,
is the Oyster card included in the registration package in any form? (As
for example the fare card for 10 rides was for the Washington Wikimania
attendants in 2012)
