Once we get enough logos, it would be really nice to randomly evenly spread them over a screen (without text, but linked to the website) in such a manner:

but maybe someone else has better ideas.

I didn't loaded the list into a database, but rather fetch the page, parse it, and cache it.
I reinforce the appeal for all participating countries to fill in their appropriate sponsors/partners at:

This includes the EUropean sponsors!

PS: I just re-read your request (too late), and noticed you were more concerned about the visually niceness :P which is definitely not my department.
