Glad we clarified this :) I'm personally in favor of this prize, as long as we market it as a vacation. However, you should consider that the citizens in some of the participating countries - including Romania - need a visa for entering the US. This might discourage them from participating.
Or additionally encourage them if they'd like to visit Washington or the USA and we can offer them some help with the visa that they couldn't get in any other way (a good chance to test the visa organization of the WM2012 team :-p).
