yes, the messages are being sent.
If you can improve on how the template works, that is always appreciated of course. Also adding more translations is always good - we couldn't wait any longer unfortunately.

I noticed that the messages being sent to all participants are by default in English: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Template:WLM_2013_thank_you We lack several translations (I noticed Italian), perhaps the template should be converted to the Translate extension's page translation? Also, why isn't it called with {{autotranslate}}, to save participants some clicking?
