Hi Jernej,
The template (in various languages) that is shown before the photo contest starts in a country is indeed saying it starts in September. This template is *not* country specific and is used for every upload campaign in WLM. The template is just a safety mechanism: it shows users who want to upload that it has not started yet (for example someone is an hour too early). However, in normal circumstances the users do not see this as 1. on the list of countries it has been specified when the contest in an area is, 2. on the landing pages this also has been specified. So I estimate this template as a low priority to fix somehow the name of the month. Also to be aware: it concerns 66 translations that then need to be changed. Perhaps it is better if the line with the month is re-written so it does not say September anymore. If anyone still thinks that mentioning the month September is still too disturbing and wants it to change it to October, this should be done not earlier than 2 September! (Also it needs to be changed back afterwards.)
Greetings, Romaine

All the WLM templates still list September as the focal month, even if some communities have decided on later months (AFAIK, they were just updated by a bot from last year). Should we change them manually? Who will take care that they will be displayed on time?

Hi all,
The following national organizers seem not yet to have confirmed their participation dates for this year:
- Algeria
- Egypt
- Finland
- Guinea
- Hong Kong
- Ireland
- Norway
- Peru
Please make sure to confirm your participation with dates here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Monuments_2020/Partici... . This is important, because of the altered timeline this year https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Monuments_2020/Organise#2020_Timeline .
Looking forward to an exciting competition this year again! Please do share what activities you're taking up this year with other countries - we can all use some inspiration. I saw at least one exciting photography workshop/masterclass that was hosted online (I think it was Romania?), which sounds like an excellent idea! Please create a new thread on this list, and share your ideas or best practices.
Best, Lodewijk
