Hi Nicole,
Do you have any guesstimate on the shipping? We would like to have a total price for those t-shirts, to see if we can get them cheaper locally.
Thanks, Strainu

Hi all,
sorry for not replying earlier.

Tomasz and I have found several companies who could print our t-shirts at reasonable prices (5,50 Euro per Shirt).
That's for a good quality shirt and printing from and back in 3(?) colours? That's a good deal :-)
That was the info I have received from Tomasz and our PR team. Will check it again.
My suggestion is to have black shirts with the wlm logo and url (wikilovesmonuments.eu) on the front and the wikipedia logo on the back (very small, right under the neck). I would use the same shirt for all countries, without any specific dates and locations. What do you think?
Good idea. I love KISS, but doesn't that look a bit redundant? https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/wiki/File:LUSITANA_WLM_2011_d... contains "Wiki Loves Monuments" and the url too...
Hm? I can't see any URL in the logo.
My questions:
- What are we planning to use the shirts for? Suggestions:
** as Prices
Not alone, but together with something else.
** for the "organisers" of local events
Of course!
** for the attendees of local events
Yes!
** shall we also offer the shirts on our websites for free orders or even sell them there?
If you have a shop you can put them in there. Of course these shirts are cool goodies to hand out.
- How many shirts (and which sizes (m/w) would YOUR country need?
Mind you that the sizes differ per country. My size ranges from S to XL depending on what country the shirt is from. Don't forget to include some T-Shirt in women sizes (breach the gendergap!).
Haha, is really someone following this mailing list who would not have thought of women sizes? SCNR ;)
Would be best to order them altogether, that makes the prices cheaper.
Yes. It would be nice to be able to give multiple addresses so the shirts are spread over Europe right away.
- Where can we discuss and document this (mailinglist is not very
convenient)? Google sheet?
Yes. A google spreadsheet sounds like a plan. Is Wikimedia Germany taking on the organizational side of this?
Do we already have a collection of sizes and numbers of t-shirts each participating country would like to order?
Unfortunately, we don't have the resources to take the organizational part alone, I was hoping that some other chapter could join in.
My first suggestion included the wikipedia-Logo for the back of the shirts. Do we have the OK from the WMF to use the Logo for the contest officially? I am not too familiar with the logo policy, does anyone know?
How to deal with the countries without chapters? Would be nice if the bigger chapters can sponsor that a bit.
Maarten
Ps. Would be cool to have just a couple of these shirts at Wikimania.
Would have been nice, but they will only be printed in August.
Looking forward to seeing some of you in Haifa,
Cheers, Nicole
