I was wondering if there are any plans to implement autotagging of location/coordinates when uploading using the upload wizard.
For example: When you punch in the monument ID it could fill in coordinates and possibly some extra information using information gathered by the bot.
That's an interesting proposal and if it is not possible to do it right now, it should be possible to add that feature to the Upload Wizard, but there's a catch: what are the coordinates of this photo?[0] Do you want to know the coordinates of the photographer or the coordinates of the monument? I'd prefer to preserve the coordinates of the photographer - I can even visualize how we could use that to generate a map of nice spots to take pictures from a monument. One way to do this is to let geo-tagged photos to override the auto-filled setting, which is a bit more complicated.
