Wow, it seems great! I wonder if it could be adapted and, in the description, show the ID number or other relevant data for photographers.

Hi, On french wikipédia we've got a template called KML which creates links to OSM, Google maps, Bing maps and allows user to download coordinates of the page in a KML file. The template is located there : http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mod%C3%A8le:KML .
You can see an exemple in action at the end of this article :

I have created a template with a link to Google Maps that shows all coordinates via toolserver. See http://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Llista_de_monuments_del_Barcelon%C3%A8s and click on "mapa".
It would be great if that could be done with OpenStreetMap and with an inline map.

I'm from the Catalan project, and recently we have been developing lists of monuments (partially by bot, partially by hand). Some of them include coordinates, which would allow us to create maps of monuments They would useful for photographers. But I wonder how to create them. I've got different approaches in my mind, for example:
- Creating a list of monuments with coordinates for Google Maps, even
though I don't know if it's possible. Maybe it could also work with Google Earth. 2. The other way is creating maps with OpenStreetMap and, with a program, add the different locations. You can see an example at http://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usuari:Joancreus/Location_maps. Unfortunately, this would require thousands of maps to achieve a decent quality, and, depending on the number, many labels couldn't be read.
Help would be appreciated from people who worked with the project last year, in the Netherlands, or have other ideas.
