Unfortunately, the hard parts are identifying all the font packages, as package names for non-latin fonts seem to be wildly inconsistent even between different Ubuntu releases. :(
Hm interesting. Concerning Tex everything went quite for me on Debian, although Matthew shared Ubuntu's packet names. Is this relevant to the article as well?
