The Wikimedia engineering report for March 2011 is now available at: http://techblog.wikimedia.org/?p=1491
Very nice. Thank you for putting this together.
I only really had one question after skimming the report: do you have any further details about the OpenWebAnalytics work? The current report says "We're wrapping up our work on OWA until we're able to hire our new dedicated analytics team. In the short term, we're focusing our efforts on A/B testing and other immediate needs, allowing the future analytics team to map out a long-term strategy."
I thought at some point OWA was nearing deployment stage, but I haven't been following the project very closely. I know it's something that both users and the Wikimedia Foundation are very interested in. They're planning more hires for this? Do you know how many, when, etc.? Any further details about this would be appreciated.
