When you know what is being indicated by the signing part of a signed
message, it may not be scary. However, do you really expect everyone to know
and appreciate it as such ?

Signing and scary warnings are mutually exclusive.
In any case people don't care for the most part, sadly. I
accidentally put up a copy of cortado up that gave nasty java security
warnings. Many tens of thousands of people used it without any
complaints before I noticed and fixed it.
::Shrugs:: I do like the idea of a firefox plugin better. I think
'publish to commons' buttons would be handy in many other applications
too (Gimp, Photoshop, Inkscape, etc)
