The new servers have arrived and are being installed. There are two
media servers, ms1 and ms2. ms1 is master, ms2 is slave. We use ZFS send
and receive to copy the data from ms1 to ms2. There are different levels
of snapshots (minutely, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly) that can be used
to restore files. We're still having problems with making the
directories readable on ms2. zfs receive unmounts the filesystem, and it
fails, if it fails to unoumnt the filesystem. Queueing the updates for a
day and unmounting the filesystem once every 24h to import the
filesystem might be a suitable way to provide an rsync service.
