I would like to know, whether you also like a new feature
- additional user option for Sysops, Developers and Bureaucrats (SDBs) - configurable through a regular expression (RE) - per SDB.
which sends an Enotif (e-mail notification) to the SDBs on creation of a new page - if the RE matches. It can now easily be included in my Enotif 3.x for Mediawiki REL1_4 (1.4.1).

Such a RE would quickly become extremely long and hard to edit. Why not use a user's watchlist for this purpose?
Timwi,
it appears, that I wasn't clear enough. The entries in the watchlist are triggering in any case. What I proposed was:
allow "super-users" (sysops, developers,. bureaucrats) one regular expression.
On creating a new page, If this RE is matched, then a watchlist entry for such a new page is automagically created, and an ENotif is sent to the superuser.
