There may well be a reason that
<wiki.phtml?title=Connected&action=edit>
should edit [[Graph theory]] if [[Connected]] redirects there,
but this is clearly not desirable behaviour in Pierre's situation.
The solution is to alter the URL that Pierre sees
when he begins to edit a page that is not a redirect,
to <wiki.phtml?title=Connected&action=redit&redirect=no>
(which is already what you get when you edit a redirect page
after viewing it with <&redirect=no>).
I suspect then that &redirect=no is redundant in every single case
except for viewing the current revision of a page. If the desired
behavior is that diffs, edits, histories, and old revisions should not
follow redirects, the code should simply not attempt to do so.
