is there some variable to be able to input raw

for example,
I have the raw html variable enabled...

I have tried..
<html><?php echo "hello"; ?></html>
but does not seem to do the trick...
Why does everyone seem to think that's a good idea? There's an extension
for
this, believe it or not, and a lot of users too. They always say "it's
alright, I'm just using it as a personal organiser on localhost, nobody
else
can access it", but personally, I've found MediaWiki to be slow and
unreliable in that role, compared to the alternatives.
