I don't know -- Newsweek interviewed me today, does that seem
worthwhile?
We had several pieces in German media mentioning the webby awards and
mentioning wikipedia. Unfortunatly, dpa (news agency) did not mention
wikipedia, they focussed on al jazeera and some german-only
participants. From that point of view, it was already worth it. If
wikipedia wins (chances are certainly above 0 per cent), this could
unleash a hord of new people coming to wikipedia. I would love to see
that 10K articles in 19 days again. 10K brilliant prose articles, of
course :)
Together with time magazine, newsweek is quite popular here. Does "they
interviewed me today" mean that there will be an article on wikipedia in
the near future or is this just some sort of preparational stuff for the
awards?
